The story of Ilmaveere

At the edge of two worlds lies a mystical place, whose air has been made brighter and clearer by thousands of church bell chimes. This place is not in Pechory, but instead on this side of the border, in Obinitsa village, Mokornulga, in a former school-church whose walls have, for the last 20 years, been home only to bees. Today, for us, this place is Ilmaveere – a place to slow down and breathe in the sweet scents, tastes, and music, and to admire the beautiful Obinitsa lake together with the statue of the Song Mother. Lenna and Lauri have created Ilmaveere largely with their own hands and in their own image, making it as welcoming and warm as a slightly more luxurious family accommodation can be.

From the choice of curtains to the restaurant chair, from the breakfast egg to the morning greeting, Ilmaveere reflects exactly the character of its family. We are happy to share that they chose three Cade stone bathtubs – go visit them and see for yourself!
